Some servers have any issue with the Seber Cart thumbnail system.  This knowledge base article should help resolve most issues.

Write Permission

The first thing to check is if your server has write permissions on the thumbnails folder. Thumbnails are uploaded to:

/components/com-sebercart/thumbs

If you have a linux server then the permissions need to be either 777 or 755 depending upon the server configuration.

If you have a windows based server then the IIS account needs write permission

Execution Permission

Some Linux servers also need an execute permission set on the seber cart folder itself.  Make sure that /components/com_sebercart has execute permissions set.  Your web host provider should be able to help with this if you are not sure

Testing

You can test if the thumbnail publisher is working by loading it directly in your browser.  Open the following in your web browser replacing <your domain> with your actual domain name:

http://<your domain>/components/com_sebercart/getPic.php

If everything is working correctly your browser will attemp to load an image (the image may be zero bytes or an unknown file type, this is normal behavior as we haven't actually told the publisher what image to give us)

If you get Page Not Found then check your path above and make sure have included the correct domain name and any sub folder names you are running your site in

If you get Internal Server Error then this usually caused by the execute permissions not being set correctly.  Check your server logs to what is causing the error.
