What is the perfect server set up to run Seber Cart?

Seber cart has been developed to work with Joomla 1.5.x.  Joomla will install and run on may different server configurations but although we attempt to make Seber Cart work for all configurations it's not always possible.  This KB article is an attempt at outlining the best configuration for your server to run not only Seber Cart but also Joomla.

Web Server:  Either Apache or IIS
PHP: 5.2.6 or higher
MySQL: 5.0.45 or higher

Most issues arise from incorrect permission settings or alternative PHP settings.  With permissions, regardless of windows or linux based servers, the account that runs your web site on the server should have write access to the server files.
